Tonight marks my first Blueberry cocktail.  I found some blueberry schnapps at my local liquor store and couldn't pass it up.  We were in the mood for blended cocktails tonight, so I went on a search for a blended blueberry cocktail and found a good one!

I gave tonight's cocktail 5 shots out of 5.  You have to like the tartyness of blueberries to really enjoy this one.  It's a simple cocktail to make really AND it's another awesome blue cocktail!!  This is a good blended cocktail that I will put toward the top of my list of new drinks to make at the next get together.  I have a feeling that once we get all of the friends together, and BBQ up some food and sit out in the sunshine...........these yummy frozen cocktails will be going fast.......probably too fast.  I hope I am able to find a few more cocktails that ask for blueberry schnapps in them, I'd like to try it in different cocktail recipes.  If you know of any super yummy cocktails that have blueberry schnapps in them, please send them to me!!

Here is the recipe for Blueberry Daiquiri:

• 1 shot blueberry schnapps
• 1/3 shot light rum
• 1/3 shot lime juice
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 cup ice

In a blender, add ice, blueberry schnapps, rum, lime juice and sugar.  Blend everything together really well so that the ice is gone.

Here's to blueberry schnapps.  It's a good flavoring for this yummy daiquiri!
