Today on Twitter Hpnotiq had posted a delicious looking and sounding cocktail called Cloud 9. It looked so refreshing that I decided to make it tonight's cocktail! Glad I did, because it's a great way to start off a week!
I gave tonight's cocktail 3.5 shots out of 5. This is a nice cocktail. It reminds me of a summer cocktail like my Leeches or my Back Porch Breeze that I have made. (I think it's the lemonade). I really enjoy the flavor of Hpnotiq and so far have really enjoyed the cocktails I've made with it. I think they have other flavors of Hpnotiq as well, maybe they'd love to send me others to try? (No pressure =)) Anyways, Cloud 9 is a great way to enjoy a nice warm evening and it doesn't have a strong alcohol flavor which is nice. I would definitely make this cocktail again sometime.
Here is the recipe for a Cloud 9 (I halved everything for mine):
- 2 oz Hpnotiq
- 2 oz vodka
- 4 oz lemonade
In a cocktail glass filled with crushed ice, pour in all of the ingredients above and stir them up well.
