Key Lime Martini

Day 156

Key Lime Martini
4.5 shots out of 5

OK, OK, so I felt bad last night that I made and drank all of the Key Lime Daiquiri and my husband got none.  Then, Anita from the Hungry Couple posted a link today to her Key Lime Martini recipe that she had made.  Problem solved!  My husband is a very happy man right now!

I gave tonight's cocktail 4.5 shots out of 5.  This is yet another great cocktail from Anita and her Hungry Couple Blog!  Thank You Anita!  I can definitely taste the lime in this cocktail and it tastes good!!  I am ABSOLUTELY going to have to check out more of her cocktails!  This cocktail is a good blend of all of the ingredients giving the lime a little more flavor then the rest (as it should be).  I will be making this as well as the Key Lime Daiquiri in the future most definitely!  If you are a fan of lime, I would suggest you try both of these cocktails, I think you will be pleasantly surprised!!

(P.S. Check out my Birthday Presents over on my New Cocktail Equipment and Supplies tab)

Here is the recipe for a Key Lime Martini:

  • 1 1/3 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz melon liqueur
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp simple syrup
In a shaker add ice and all ingredients above.  Shake them up real well and strain them into a chilled martini glass and enjoy!

Cheers!!
