WOW!  I have not had one of these in years!  It's quite lemony.....well.......as it should be!  I think the one I was made all of these years ago was with made with lemon drop mix though instead of using the real stuff.

I gave tonight's cocktail 4.5 shots out of 5.  I am really enjoying my Lemon Drop!  It's very lemony, but the sugar rimmed glass makes it all tie in well together.  I had found a few different recipes online for a lemon drop, so I stuck to a basic one and it worked well!  For those of you who do enjoy the lemon flavor, I think you will definitely like this cocktail!  I even have a couple of friends over here tonight who all have a lemon drop in their hands and they both gave me a "mmmmm smile" after their first sip, so it's a definite winner!

Here is the recipe for a Lemon Drop:

• 2 shots vodka
• 1 shot lemon juice
• 1 tsp simple syrup

Take a martini glass and wet the rim with lemon juice, then dip it into sugar to get a good sugar rim.  In a shaker add ice, vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup.  Shake it up real good to mix all of the ingredients.  Strain your cocktail into your sugar rimmed martini glass and enjoy!!

Here's to a very lemony cocktail!  Wasn't sure that I would like this cocktail as much as I am, I have to admit.  It's a good one though!  Worth a try!
